Farmland investment report highly commended by the Farsight Award

March 19, 2013

Deutsche Bank Research's publication "Foreign investment in farmland: No low-hanging fruit" by Claire Schaffnit-Chatterjee was highly commended (second prize equivalent) by the judging panel for the Farsight Award on 19 March 2013 during the Sustainable City Awards ceremony. The Farsight Award is a research prize created by The London Accord, Gresham College and Z/Yen Group which rewards the “best analysis by an investment research institution integrating traditional financial analysis with longer-term environmental, social and governance issues”. This is an award category of the Sustainable City Awards organised by the City of London Corporation.

DB Research's report was shortlisted in January with six other reports out of 95 investment reports considered for the Farsight Award 2012/13 edition. The judging panel evaluated the reports according to the criteria of financial use, originality and long-term perspective, quality, sophistication and depth, readability and clarity as well as overall presentation.
